Xie Guizhen graduated from Guangdong University of Police Sciences, a school known as the cradle of Guangdong's police force. After graduation, she worked in the Legal System Corps of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, responsible for assisting in handling complex criminal cases, coordinating all grassroots police affairs, etc.

As a lawyer, she mainly focuses on criminal case defense, having handled various case types including smuggling, drug trafficking, fraud, bribery, illegal crossing of the border, rape, etc. Meanwhile, she also provides legal advice for large-scale investment projects within China, including government relations coordination, tax handling, public relations management, etc.
